Instructions

To use the barcode generator, simply input the information you would like converted into the Data field and select the desired options. When ready to convert your information, select the Generate option. You will then be presented with an image of the barcode in your specified formatting. To use this barcode, right-click on its image and select ‘Save As’ - Name it as desired and choose the directory you would like to save it to.   • Known also as USS Code 39, 3 of 9.
  • Code 39 can encode alphanumeric characters.
  • The symbology is used in non-retail environment.
  • Code 39 is designed to encode 26 upper case letters, 10 digits and 7 special characters.
  • Code 39 has a checksum but it's rarely used.
